There was a lot of excitement in the Globeville neighborhood on May 27, 1919, as ground was broken for the foundation for Holy Rosary Church. The parish had been the dream of Slovenian and Croatian immigrants, who came to America seeking a better life and the right to worship as they pleased. Holy Rosary Church would be a tribute to their hard work and dedication. 90 years later, a new generation faces the challenge of maintaining this heritage of faith and community.
